Our Ethiopian cooking class: the details
Global Kitchen is thrilled to collaborate with Bunna Cafe for our next event. For this event we are doing something a little different. The evening will begin with chef instructor Kedija Ali doing a quick demo on how to make a classic Ethiopian dish, Injera, while explaining the spices and history of Ethiopian cuisine. The highlight of the evening will be a multi-course dinner featuring Injera, Gomen, Misir Wot, Shiro, Yeter Kik Alicha, Keysir, followed by dessert and a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony. We will also have some Tej (Ethiopian honey wine) on hand for you to try. This class is vegan friendly and all dishes are gluten free (a gluten-free injera option will be provided).
Note: This class is BYOB. If you would like to drink, we encourage you to bring beer or wine to enjoy while you cook and eat!
